Shipping & Delivery Information

Cocobean Chocolate takes no responsibility for melted product in remote destinations, however, we take all measures to ensure this does not happen.

Cocobean Chocolate takes great care with the shipping of your order to ensure that it arrives in optimal condition.   To ensure that your order does not get too hot, we use a combination of polystyrene boxes with ice packs to maintain optimal temperature within the box.

All orders will be sent out as quickly as possible and in most cases will be sent out the day following your order acceptance (Monday to Thursday), to street addresses only within Australia (excluding Northern Territory, Darwin and Alice Springs) using Australia Post.

No deliveries are shipped on Public Holidays or weekends to ensure chocolates are not stored in hot warehouses or depots over weekend days.  Any orders received after 12pm on a Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.

Orders with a delivery address to a capital city will usually be delivered within 1-5 business days. 

If you live in regional or outlying areas, your order may take longer to be delivered.  Distance also means delivery could take up to 7 days and could compromise the quality of our product.

During peak periods such as Christmas and Easter, shipping times may vary.  If your order is going to be delayed, we will notify you by email.

Please note that while we discourage our delivery suppliers leaving Cocobean Chocolate parcels at your delivery address when no one is there, it is up to the discretion of Australia Post or the relevant courier company.  This is unfortunately out of our control.  We strongly recommend customers nominate a business address for delivery if they are unavailable at a residential address during business (delivery) hours.

Please provide us with any special instructions for delivery that will make it easier for our delivery suppliers to find you.  Please include your name and phone number in all email correspondence to us.


Cocobean Chocolate cannot exchange or refund goods due to the perishable nature of chocolate, so please order carefully.


Cocobean Chocolate can only refund your order if it has not yet been shipped.  Once your order has left our warehouse we can no longer refund your order.  Please note that almost all orders ship same day, so please notify us as soon as you are able if you wish to cancel your order.
